Hello!

I’m Ashley, but most people call me Ash.

I’m the face behind Ashtree Photographs, and I’ve been photographing people for almost half my life now.

Think of me as your built-in hype friend with a camera, the one who’ll make you laugh, fix your hair, calm your nerves, and remind you that you look really, really good.

Photography isn’t just something I do. It’s my life. It’s how I see people, how I notice light, and how I pay attention to the small details others might miss. Whether you’re a natural or saying, “what do I do with my hands?” I’ve got you. I guide without over-directing and watch for the real stuff, the playful moments, the emotional pauses, the in-between seconds that make a photograph feel alive.

My love for art started over 20 years ago in a little town, where I practically lived in the school art room experimenting with anything creative I could get my hands on, and dreaming far beyond my surroundings. I saved for my first DSLR at 17 and photographed my first wedding at 19.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve continued to evolve my craft, developing the experience and instinct to create images that feel thoughtful, atmospheric, and authentic.

From bright and timeless to bold and cinematic, I’ve mastered a wide range of editing styles, allowing me to thoughtfully tailor each gallery to reflect every one of my clients unique' visions.

In 2024, I stepped into photography full time. It was terrifying at first but it's been incredible, and it just felt right. When I’m not shooting, you can find me hot tubbing, painting, gardening, traveling, cuddling my cats, losing my voice at concerts, or doing slightly off key karaoke with friends.

If you’re here, that means you’re considering trusting me with something important.

And that means a lot to me. I’d truly love to create something lasting and meaningful for you.

xo Ashley
